The UPSIDE DOWN band is a cover band made up of Greek musicians who had either lived
in the states, or anyway in some country other than Greece,allowing them to gather
influences that match their performance. The leader of the group,Vangelis Spanakakis
(electric guitar, lead vocals) is a solo artist in the Greek music industry since '91,
giving him credits of 4 solo albums and a number of hits, thus making his songs
known to all of Greece, rather than his name. Vangelis decided to make up
a band (summer of '92) to support all-style classics of the 70's-80's-90's,
something other greek bands avoided because of their bad english or american accent,
or poor performing generally...,thus, making Vangelis and his band well known
for the excellent adaptation of the real songs. The rest of the band, love music in it's best times
and are willing to sacrifice anything in order to play what they like.
